Derelict Shoot: Prep Day

After months of planning, the film Derelict was ready to be shot. We had an early start, and much to do. We began filming the opening sequence, this involved a chase sequence with freerunning stunts and our lead actor, Israel Aduramo. We shot at a location in Elephant and Castle, in run down housing estate. On the Sunday night I met with first assistant director, Nat Seaton (The Wolfman), and we had a last minute location planning meeting. I introduced Nat to the joys of London transport, as we spent a couple of hours traveling around 5 miles…We should have walked. Fortunately I managed to find her some local accommodation, and we were all set for the shoot week ahead.
